Moral values I learned in “SINIGANG” by: Marie Aubrey J. Villaceran
Moral values define the what is humankind. Moral values empower us as a human. These values are the basis in almost all religion. During our childhood times we are taught about the good habits , values and manners by the most significant moral values are kindness , honestly , truthfulness , selflessness , compassion , and love.
The “Sinigang” story contains moral values on forgiveness. Forgiving is not easy to give in someone who made a sin to you. I know that forgiveness depends on how mortal sin was done. I already experienced that when my intimate friend tells my secret to others. I wouldn’t expect that she would speak it publicly. But instead of giving anger to her I just forgive her because I know that is just a trial among us to strengthen our relationship . Submission and forgiveness is the only key to maintain your relationship to your neighborhood. Forgiveness is for our own growth and happiness . It frees us to live the future without any feelings of anger and resentment , and allows us to move on our past without contempt or seeking for revenge.
As a 21st century learner, and as an impact of us forgiving doesn’t need a change or free to give it to others. It’s a choice coming from you.
